Plask is a new 3D animation startup company offering premium motion capture and animation SaaS in an effort to make 3D animation more accessible than ever.
The startup is supported by Naver, Samsung C-Lab and KT Corporation and has been testing their product in beta for over six months at animation production companies, entertainment studios and game developers.
You get free access to motion capture for a single person, render for 30 seconds per day, access 1GB of storage for a collection of personal assets, and more. Meanwhile, for $ 50 per month (billed annually), you can get 60 minutes of render per month, access to motion capture for more people, and more. I’m really interested to see how this affects things.
Will Vtubes use this technology? Will smaller game studios be able to do more? I am intrigued.
