Cinedigm has released an interesting trailer for a psychological thriller titled MK Ultra. The film is set in the early 1960s and is based on the infamous CIA drug experiments.
Mount Anson (Inhumans, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds) stars as a brilliant psychiatrist named Ford Strauss whose “moral and scientific boundaries are pushed to the limit when he is recruited to manage a subsection of the program at a rural Mississippi psychiatric hospital.”
This is a story that has always fascinated me and it looks like it will be a solid film. I also think this is a great project for Mount. The film is also the protagonist Jason Patric, Jaime Ray Newman, Alon AboutboulAnd David Jensen.
MK Ultra was written and directed by Giuseppe Sorrentinoand will be released in selected theaters and on VOD starting from 7 October 2022.
