Recently, Konami announced the new Incredible defenders set for the Yu-Gi-Oh! GCC. This is a 60-card set that introduces three new themes to the game, each with a unique play style. The themes are as follows:

A fully equipped rescue vehicle that arrives first on the scene! It has all the tools you need to survive and overcome any threat.

An Xyz monster that needs some TLC to reach its full potential! Turn it up well and there’s nothing you can’t accomplish together.

A ritual monster that appears only after mastering the mystical dance. What kind of powers does it hold?
Are we sure that these are new themes? The first sounds like a revamp of ROID, I’m not sure about the second and the third looks like a Ritual version of Cyber Blader and company. If you have thoughts on the second theme, let me know in the comments as I’m sure I’m just overlooking something. I know the graphics in the package show us what appear to be new monsters, but I’m not convinced they’re brand new.
Regardless of whether these are truly new themes or not, Incredible defenders will also include reprints and 15 cards in the set will be available as Collector’s Rares. The breakdown by rarity is as follows:

Each pack of Incredible defenders will have 7 cards: 1 Foil and 6 Rare. The set is scheduled for release on January 20 and will cost $ 4.49 per pack.
