THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER is a stunning epic fantasy series! What did you think!?

I’ve been a fan of JRR Tolkien’s stories since I first read it The Hobbit when I was a child. I love the world of Middle-earth that he created. I’m a fan of the original animated film adaptations of his work, and Peter Jackson’S The Lord of the Rings the trilogies are three of my favorite films ever made. Needless to say, when I heard that Amazon was producing an epic fantasy series, The Lord of the Rings: The rings of powerwhich would tell stories set in the Second Age, thousands of years before the events of The Lord of the Ringshow could I not be thrilled !?

The trailers released for the series teased something incredibly epic and incredible. My excitement for this show has been through the roof and the first two episodes have finally come out on Prime Video for fans to watch! I wasn’t one of the lucky few to get a media screening so I popped in with enthusiasm and started watching as soon as possible and I’m happy to say that I absolutely love what this series has to offer!

Creators and showrunners JD Payne And Patrick McKay they have accomplished something extraordinary, something that Tolkien fans can love and appreciate. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen great fantasies in movies or on TV, and the fantasy elements in this series have hit hard. I’ve been waiting for a fantasy project like this for a long time and it does everything right!

Everything in this series is beautifully crafted! As you know, this series had a huge budget and you can see that it was actually produced in this production to bring this story to life. The drawings, the settings, the costumes, the props, the weapons, the makeup, the CGI, the soundtrack and, above all, the story. It’s all top notch work and I congratulate the production crew for making a visually stunning series with a fantastic story! I was completely swallowed up and in awe as I watched the story unfold in these first two episodes.

This series is truly a cinematic experience and I wish we could watch every episode in a cinema on a big screen! It is almost a disservice to the show that we have to watch it on TV. But it’s better to experience it this way than not to experience it at all, so I’ll happily take it! It’s simply an amazing viewing experience and I’m 100% invested in the story it’s telling, and it’s one of the best shows I’ve ever seen on TV. This is also one of those stories that make me feel all the emotions!

The casting of this series is also perfect, but I want to clarify it specifically Morfydd Clark, who plays Galadriel. She is fantastic in the role and one of my favorite parts of the show. She completely owns this character and does it with her, and she’s a total badass! I love the way she manages to say so much in those her eyes of hers. It will be a pleasure to watch her story arc unfold over the course of the series.

The Lord of the Rings: The rings of power “Is set thousands of years before the events of JRR Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings and will take viewers back to an era where great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell into ruin, unlikely heroes were tested. , hope hung by the thinnest thread, and the greatest villain that had ever come out of Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover the whole world in darkness. Begun in a period of relative peace, the series follows an ensemble cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they face the much-feared resurgence of evil in Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of the elven capital Lindon, to the breathtaking island kingdom of Númenor, to the farthest reaches of the map, these kingdoms and characters carve out legacies that will survive long after they’re gone. “

It has been explained that the Second Age is the great unfilmed story in Tolkien’s entire legendarium, with the forging of the rings and the Last Covenant, and we felt that that was the story that deserved to be told. “

That story is being told now and so far that’s all I hoped it was! Does a great job of paying homage to The Lord of the Rings, also enriching the history of Middle-earth. I love what I’ve seen from this show so far and I’m so excited about what’s to come!

What do you think of the first two episodes of the series?
