Next week, fans of LGBTQ + YA romance fiction will have something new to read. Donuts and Destiny comes from a cartoonist Balazs Lorenczi and Top Shelf Productions and follows a stressed-out witch who ends up accidentally cursing ailing rock musician Elena when they meet at a local donut shop. Oops! It’s the classic friend trophy for lovers and it can be fun to read at times.
When Margot meets Elena, emotions run high, magic is in the air and donuts … float? One is a stressed out witch trying to get her potions business off the ground, the other is a struggling rock musician whose band isn’t going anywhere. Neither is having fun! No wonder things quickly switch from words to literal sparks flying when they first meet. Could this be the start of a delightful new relationship … or is an unfortunate curse leading them to certain doom?
