New teaser trailer revealed for stop-motion Halloween movie WENDELL & WILD starring Key and Peele

A new teaser trailer and poster have been released from the Halloween stop-motion film, Wendell & Wildfrom Henry Selickthe director of The nightmare before Christmas And Coraline. Keegan-Michael Key And Jordan Peel star of the film, which was co-written by Peele and Selick, and is described as “the hellish and funny demons of a teenager named Kat”.

Peele plays the character Wendell and Key is Wild, and they join them in the cast Lyric Ross (This is us), Angela Bassett (Black Panther), Giacomo Hong (Kung Fu Panda), Tamara Smart (A babysitter’s guide to monster hunting), Natalie Martinez (The twilight zone), So much cardinal (Dance with the wolves), Gabriele Dennis, Igal Naor, David Harewood, Maxine Peake, Ramona Young (I have never), Sam Zelaya, Seema Virdi, Gary GatewoodAnd Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction, Dawn of the Dead).

Here is the synopsis:

“Wendell & Wild is an animated story about the intriguing demon brothers Wendell (Keegan-Michael Key) and Wild (Jordan Peele) – who enlist the help of 13-year-old Kat Elliot – a tough teenager with a load of guilt – to summon them to the Land of the Living . But what Kat asks in return leads to a brilliantly bizarre and comical adventure like no other, an animated fantasy that defies the law of life and death, all told through the artisanal art of stop motion. “
