Shout Factory has released a trailer for the upcoming WWII naval battle thriller Operation Seawolfwhat stars Dolph Lundgren And Franco Grillo. The film tells the story of how Nazi Germany had a plan to use the last remaining U-boats for one final mission … to attack the United States.
The actual plan for this was called “Operation Sea Lion” and involved Hitler trying to invade the UK at the end of the war. Here is the synopsis:
During the final days of World War II, Germany, desperate for one last hold to defeat the Allied powers, looked to the last remaining weapons and soldiers. The German Navy and the last remaining U-boats have formed together for one last desperate mission: a mission to attack the homeland of the United States, known as Operation Seawolf. Captain Hans Kessler (Dolph Lundgren), a grizzled submarine commander from both world wars, is called into service to make a mission a success and help turn the tide of war.
The film was written and directed by Steven Lucawho also stars in the film together Hiram A. Murray, Cody Fleury, Luke SteinbornAnd Andrea Stecker. I usually like to watch this type of movie, but this one looks pretty bad. It’s a shame.
Operation Seawolf in some US cinemas and VODs starting October 7, 2022.
