A super intense trailer for the psychological thriller has been released The infernal machinewith an Emmy winner Guy Pearce (I remember, LA Reserved, Mildred Pierce). He is joined in the cast by Alice Eva, Jeremy DaviesAnd Alex Pettyfer. The film is written and directed by Andrea Cacciaon who based it The society of the hilly landa story written by Louis Kornfeld and produced by Jonathan Mitchell for The Truth Podcast.

Here is the synopsis:

“Guy Pearce stars in this psychological thriller of obsession and deception. Bruce Cogburn (Pearce), a lonely and controversial author of the famous book The Infernal Machine, is pulled out of hiding when he begins receiving endless letters from an obsessive fan. What ensues is a dangerous maze as Bruce searches for the person behind the cryptic messages … forcing him to confront his past and ultimately revealing the truth behind The Infernal Machine.

It looks like a crazy movie! It reminds me of the obsession with the novel by Mark David Chapman, the murderer of John Lennon The hunter in the rye. It will be interesting to see how it parallels real life. Also, Guy Pearce is a great actor. Can’t wait to check out this movie.
