Neon gets the rights to OLDBOY and will bring it back to theaters for its 20th anniversary

Neon secured US distribution rights for the director Park Chan-wookit’s the classic movie Old boy, and they’re planning to bring it back to theaters to celebrate its 20th anniversary, which is pretty cool. This is a movie I love, and it’s one I’ve never seen on the big screen, so it’s going to be great to have this opportunity.

In the film, “Dae-Su is a hateful drunkard rescued from the police station once again by a friend. However, he is kidnapped from the street and wakes up in a cell, where he remains for the next 15 years, an unconscious drug addict when human contact is inevitable, otherwise with only television as company. And then, suddenly released, he is invited to track down his jailer with a simply stunning ending. “

The film is the protagonist Choi Min-sik like Oh Dae-Su along with Yoo Ji-tae And Kang Hye-jung. Neon did not specify the exact date Old boy will be back on the big screen, but I can’t wait!
