Hell boy Creator Mike Mignolaartist Ben Stenbackand colorist Dave Stewart take a new trip to Hell Koshchei in hell. This new four-issue Dark Horse Comics miniseries sees Koshchei contained in Hell with his books and his wine.
When an old associate arrives and gives Koschei a critical task, he must wield his sword to defend Pandemonium from an ancient and powerful enemy. Fans will remember Koshchei the Deathless from Hellboy: Darkness Calls when he was sent to kill Hellboy by Baba Yaga. Now Koshchei fans can enjoy him as the main character. Stenbeck said this about it:
Koshchei would just like to sit and read books and drink wine in his socks…… This is the series that Koshchei wants it to be. But that’s not what he’s getting. He has to get out of the house. Then he will meet many familiar faces and meet new ones, and practically all of them ask to fight. Poor old Koshchei, it’s never easy.
The series looks great fun for fans of Mignola’s work. The debut number of Koshchei in hell will be available on November 30th.
