LaBeouf also shared with Variety a series of screenshots of text messages sent to Wilde in August 2020, where he was the one who informed the director that he had to abandon the project. LaBeouf’s “journey of redemption and sobriety”
Returning to the e-mail sent by LaBeouf to Wilde last Wednesday, August 24 (published in full by Variety), the actor begins by telling her that he prays for her and her family every night and tells her about his daughter, Isabel, who he recently welcomed with his wife, also actress Mia Goth.
