Trailer for Netflix’s visually stunning French action thriller ATHENA

Netflix has released the full trailer for their visually stunning French action thriller, Athena. The film, also known as RG03 in France or Moussais directed by an acclaimed French director Romain Gavras (Our day Will Come, The world is Yours), from a script co-written by Gavras, Ladj Ly (The Miserables), And Elias Belkeddar. The film is the protagonist Dalì Benssala, Alessio Manenti, Antonio Bajon, Sami SlimaneAnd Ouassini Embarek.

The synopsis reads:

“‘It’s hard to fight anger, because a man will buy revenge with his soul.’ After the death of his younger brother following an alleged altercation with the police, Abdel (Dali Benssalah) is recalled from the front line and finds his family torn between the desire for revenge of his younger brother Karim (Sami Slimane) and the criminal activities of the his older brother Moktar (Ouassini Embarek), struggles to calm the escalating tensions. As the situation escalates, their Athena community transforms into a besieged fortress, becoming the scene of tragedy for both family and others … “
