Sometimes Marvel Studios records shots that for some reason don’t make it to the final cut, but if there is any luck they are revealed later, and in this deleted scene from ‘Captain Marvel’ the controversy behind Captain Marvel’s smile is clearly reflected. Brie Larson which caused controversy due to the actress’s reactions.

During the years, Brie Larson was rejected by many, many fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universeand it all started just before the premiere of her solo film in 2019, when the promos revealed a fearless and serious heroine with a very different charisma than the other women in the House of Ideas movies.

The negative comments on the film ‘Captain Marvel’began to focus on the protagonist who doesn’t smile enough and has a rather grumpy face, and in this deleted scene Brie Larson can be seen facing this criticism as if Carol Danver could do it.

In the movie ‘Captain Marvel’ there is also a similar moment in which this same character confronts her, asks her for a smile and ends up being robbed by the superhero who takes her bike, however the moment is very short and there is a ‘ ellipses where you can’t see how Carol Danvers takes over the vehicle and her new outfit.

This scene didn’t make it to the final cut and was instead edited for a shorter and less shocking moment, but now that it’s been several years since the movie’s release, you can already see it on social networks, although it’s important to note that even with increased participation in the MCU and a sequel slated for 2023, Brie Larson continues to be rejected by many fans.
