Top Hat Studios and Squiddershins have announced their new game Kaichu – The Kaiju Dating Sim will be released on September 7, 2022 for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.
Take on the role of Gigachu, a romantic radioactive giant dinosaur looking for love, in a Saturday morning cartoon-style game. You will meet 6 other eligible Kaiju from around the world. 2 news presenters will help guide you through the complex and destructive courtship rituals of the Kaiju and you will need their experience to help you deduce the likes, dislikes and quirks of each Kaiju. Take your sweetheart around the world with 24 unique date locations on a large world map. The game will be available for $ 9.99.
Dating simulators aren’t usually my thing, but after giving Sucker for Love a chance and loving it, I’m willing to give it a try. The main drawback for me is that there doesn’t seem to be any voice acting for the anchors, which is disappointing. But the cute graphics might help make up for it, we’ll have to wait and find out.
