Producer Jerry Bruckheimer worked on development National Treasury 3 for Disney. In a recent interview, she revealed that she is working on a script, it is really good and they will succeed Nicolas Cage soon.
Bruckheimer says he hopes the sequel will be made and says “we’re working on the script right now. Hopefully. [Cage] like it, but it’s really good. So I think we will provide it to you shortly. “
This project is separate from the TV series under development for Disney +. While that series is connected to the cinematic universe, this sequel would obviously focus on Cage’s character, Benjamin Franklin Gates. Earlier this year, the actor was asked if there would be a National Treasury 3 During an “Ask Me Anything” question and answer session on Reddit, Cage replied, “No, the priority was to turn it into a TV show, so I’d probably say no.”
When asked earlier in an interview with GQ Cage, he said, “The phone stopped ringing. It was like, ‘What do you mean we’re not doing? National Treasury 3? It’s been 14 years, why not.
