One of the questions that Tatiana MaslanyJennifer Walters has the entire first episode of She-Hulk: lawyer is if Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, is a virgin. It’s just one of those things she seems obsessed with, and it’s an obsession that has lasted most of the season!
While talking with Variety, creator of the series Jessica Gao revealed that the ongoing Captain America virginity gag originally lasted all season:
“We just started putting it in scripts. There was a runner from a season where the thing that constantly gnaws at Jen is this question of whether Steve Rogers ever had sex or not. You see her regularly googling, talking about this. You got the feeling that she was just constantly nagging people in her life, this question that was burning her soul. I can’t describe to you how thrilled and shocked I was that not only Kevin was on board answering the question, which he provided me with. the canonical answer “.
Eventually, they ended up playing with this in the first episode, and eventually, during the post-credits scene, She-Hulk and the rest of the Marvel fans get their answer.
Marco RuffalloBruce Banner reveals in the scene that “Steve Rogers is not a virgin. He lost his virginity to a girl in 1943 during the USO tour”. Walters is thrilled to hear this news and exclaims “CAPTAIN AMERICA FUC-” before being interrupted. So here’s the answer!
As for Tony Stark and what he was doing during the Blip, it was revealed on the show that he and Bruce Banner were going out in Mexico. Hulk explains that Stark built the gamma lab and that he was on loan until they confronted Thanos.
Together they did experiments on Banner’s blood, and apparently Stark also complained a lot about Captain America, which makes sense. It is also hinted that Banner has not yet overcome the loss of his friends and has retired to his laboratory.
I liked the first episode of She-Hulk, and I hope it continues to be good. What do you think of these revelations about Captain America and Tony Stark?
