A couple of new rumors have surfaced for Marvel Loki Pretty cool season 2. A rumor claims that Squadron Supreme will be in the series. The other is that Henry Cavill he may be in talks to play Hyperion. These rumors originated in CineStealth, and it would be nice if they turned out to be true.
Squadron Supreme is the Marvel version of DC Comics’ Justice League of America. Some of the characters include Hyperion, Nighthawk, Doctor Spectrum, Arcanna, Power Princess, Blue Eagle, Whizzer, and others. It seems crazy to feature some of these characters, but if they really do, the Loki series seems like the perfect place.
As for Cavill as Hyperion, I think it’s pretty far-fetched. Hyperion is the Marvel version of Superman and is one of the most powerful super-humans in the Marvel Multiverse. Hyperion is an Eternal with various powers such as super strength, super speed, flight, near invulnerability, atomic vision, enhanced senses, and more.
I don’t think Cavill would move to Marvel unless it was for a major role in a major movie. Not a Marvel series. But seeing the members of the Supreme Squadron is credible. We just have to wait and see!

From what I understand, Loki S2 will introduce Squadron Supreme as a The Boys-style riff on the Justice League from another timeline. Arrogant and evil analogues of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, etc … but they end up working for / with Kang as his muscle in Kang Dynasty. https://t.co/4MXAA06vHh

Just because the talks may have happened doesn’t mean that nothing is a lock. It’s exciting and crazy, but please try to be measured in how you handle this rumor. https://t.co/ONrbq6OAnM

Tom Hiddleston is returning to play Loki, and is also an executive producer on the project. Michele Waldronwho wrote and served as showrunner in the first season, will also executive produce the second. Eric Martino is writing all six episodes for the second season.
Justin Benson And Aaron Moorhead will co-direct most of the episodes. The two directors recently directed a couple of Marvel episodes Knight of the Moon series.
While there are no details to share about the Season 2 story, Hiddleston has previously talked about what he would like to see from the series as it continues. One of the main things she would like to continue exploring is Loki’s redeeming story arc:
“I understand that the audience sees well in Loki: they want him to overcome his internal and external obstacles. They want me to mend that relationship with his brother and become the hero he can be.
“He realizes: ‘Actually, I can choose my path and choose to do the right thing. Or at least I choose not to repeat the same old tricks that I have repeated over and over again in a cycle of trust and betrayal. It is exciting to keep all the characteristics that distinguish Loki, Loki and at the same time to play slightly different music within him. “
What do you think of these rumors?
