
Lionsgate shared a new photo from The hunger games prequel movie The ballad of songbirds and snakes. The photo offers a first look Rachel Zegler like Lucy Gray Baird and Tom Blyth like Coriolanus Snow having a little romantic moment together.
The film is based on Susanne Collins’book of 2020 and the story takes place decades before the adventures of Katniss Everdeen. The story centers on a young 18-year-old Coriolanus Snow, an ambitious boy who eventually becomes the tyrannical leader of the dystopian country of Panem.
Here is the synopsis:
Years before becoming the tyrannical president of Panem, 18-year-old Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth) is the last hope for his endangered lineage, a once proud family that fell from grace on a post-war Capitol. As the 10th edition of the Hunger Games approaches, young Snow is alarmed when he is assigned to mentor Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler), the poor District 12 tribute girl. But, after Lucy Gray gets Panem’s full attention by defiantly singing during the harvest ceremony, Snow thinks he might be able to turn the odds in their favor. Combining their instincts for showmanship and newfound political expertise, Snow and Lucy Gray’s race against time to survive will ultimately reveal who is a songbird and who is a snake.
The film is also the protagonist Viola Davis like Dr. Volumnia Gallia, Peter Dinklage, Hunter Schafer, Josh Andrés RiveraAnd Jason Schwartzman.
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is led by the director of the franchise Francesco Lorenzo and will be released in theaters on November 17, 2023.
