of Netflix League of Legends animated series Arcane is a hellish series that features some beautiful animations and storytelling. This is one of my favorite shows, and while we wait for the story to continue with a new season, we have a fantastic early animation test for the 2015 series to share with you.
This proof-of-concept animation test was completed by the creative team to show exactly what they wanted to do with the series to sell it and it worked! Check out the animation test below and tell us what you think!
The scene shows Vi and Jayce fighting on the rooftops above Piltover. The early character designs were different from what we see in the final product, but the style and tone of the world and the amazing visuals are all there!
It saddens me that so many people I have recommended this program to have not seen it yet! It is really cool!
In the animation test, Vi and Jayce fight on the rooftops above Piltover. While the character designs have certainly been updated from the 2015 animation test, the feel of his world, the impact of his visuals and most certainly translated into the final product.
The features of the series Hailee Steinfeld like Vi, Katie Leung like Caitlyn, Kevin Alejandro like Jayce, Jason Spisak like Silco, Ella Purnell like Jinx, Toks Olagundoye like Mel, JB Blanc like Vander, and Harry Lloyd like Vittorio. It is developed by Riot Games in collaboration with Fortiche Productions. Christian Linke and Alex Yee are the co-creators of the series while Linke is also the showrunner.
