Siena Miller And Sam Worthington they are meant to act Kevin Costnerthe upcoming epic western project Horizon. Costner stars and will direct the film, which begins production on August 29 in Utah. The film is also the protagonist Jamie Campbell Bowerwho plays Vecna in Stranger things.
Horizon tells “a multifaceted, 15-year span of expansion and settlement of the American West before and after the Civil War. Experienced through the eyes of many, the epic journey is fraught with peril and intrigue from the constant assault of natural elements to interactions with indigenous peoples who lived on earth and the determination and, at times, the ruthlessness of those who tried to establish it. . “
Costner wrote the script with Jon Baird, and Costner said this was planned as “four different films” to be released “about every three months.” Costner explained, “They’re all different movies that all connect, so you’re watching a saga of these storylines happening.”
Worthington said in a statement, “I am very excited and honored to embark on this incredible and important journey with Kevin, who is one of the best and most inspiring storytellers in the industry.
Miller added, “I am so excited to embark on this epic journey with such a legendary actor and director at the helm. The story is compelling. I am very honored to be part of it ”.
Costner previously talked about the story saying, “It’s a really good story; it’s a difficult story. It really involves a lot of women, to be honest. There are a lot of men too, but women are really strong Horizon. It’s just them trying to get by every day in a world that was incredibly difficult. They often were [dragged] out in these places because that’s where the men wanted to go; women followed their men. They didn’t ask to be in these unstable and dangerous territories, and life wasn’t easy. I chose to make sure it was really obvious, that it wasn’t easy and how vulnerable people were. “
Costner will spend eight months shooting the film, and it’s something I’m incredibly excited to watch! I have no doubt that Coster will give away another incredible western!
