During EVO 2022 last weekend, Capcom made a couple of revelations Street fighter 6. The game is expected to launch in 2023, and two new characters and two new commentators have been revealed. Juri is returning with his signature Fuhajin and a passion for taking down the competition from him.
First appearing in Super Street Fighter IV, Juri remains a sadistic thrill seeker who enjoys the suffering of others, taking immense joy in annihilating her enemies. Previously, her main motivation was revenge against M. Bison, but since her fall in Street Fighter V, she is now walking away from her, waiting for the next thrill to come.
Juri’s signature Fuhajin returns to where he executes an upward kick and stores the Fuha action upon completion. Saihasho, Ankensatsu, and Go Ohsatsu are special moves that can be performed without Fuha supplies, but become more powerful and can be chained when Fuha supplies are available. This opens up more creative options for Juri’s play style and can catch an opponent off guard.

The Super Arts of Juri:
-
Sakkai Fuhazan (1 Stock) – Juri fires multiple ki shots with one kick and follows him with another giant ki blast to knock out an opponent.
-
Feng Shui Engine (2 Actions) – First appearing as an Ultra Combo in Super Street Fighter IV and then as a V-Trigger in Street Fighter V, the Feng Shui Engine returns as Super Art. Juri unleashes the power of the built-in Feng Shui engine in her eye, allowing her to cancel normal moves into other normal moves or even unique moves.
-
Kaisen Dankai Raku (3 titles) – Straight from Super Street Fighter IV, Juri unleashes the full power of the Feng Shui engine to execute a brutal sequence of attacks suited to the vengeful sadist.

Meanwhile, Kimberly is a brand new character for SF6. She combines her ninja skills with a love of 80s pop culture to give us a very colorful character.
As a devoted student in Bushinryu, Kimberly trained her body and mind to perform traditional ninja techniques. Street Fighter fans may recognize some of Kimberly’s special moves from Guy’s or Zeku’s kits such as Sprint, a quick jerk forward, which can be followed by a variety of moves depending on the situation. Nue Twister is an air toss in which Kimberly grabs a flying opponent and smashes them into the ground below.
Being a brave new ninja, Kimberly incorporates an urban twist to reimagine what Bushinryu means to her. She uses Genius at Play to stock up on a spray can, which can then be thrown to the ground like a Shuriken bomb. During Hidden Variable, Kimberly hides in colored smoke before immediately appearing in front of the opponent for a surprise attack.
-
Kimberly’s Super Arts
-
Bushin Beats (1 Stock) – Kimberly rushes forward and knocks down an opponent, then follows up with a flurry of attacks. If a Shuriken Bomb is stacked, Kimberly uses it to add additional damage.
-
Bushin Scramble (2 actions) – Kimberly sends the opponent into the air and parkours along the edge of the stage hitting him with midair attacks, then ensnares him with a dive bomb-like attack.
-
Bushin Ninjastar Cypher (3 titles) – Get ready to beat the beat! Kimberly detonates an arsenal of spray cans around the opponent culminating in a label of chromatic graffiti on the ground.

In addition to the characters, James Chen And The tasty Steve will join Vicious and Aru as commentators for the new real-time comment feature. I’m not very into fighting games, but people wanted this feature? He seems really distracted to me. You’re pumped for SF6?
