One of the most interesting things revealed in James Gunn’S The suicide squad was the story of Idris ElbaBloodsport’s assassination attempt on Superman with a kryptonite bullet. This is the event that brought Bloodsport to prison, and Elba would love to see the story of Bloodsport vs. Superman told in a DC movie, and I would too!
In a recent interview with Variety, Elba said: “I would absolutely like to tell the story of Superman. There is no question. Bloodsport versus Superman. It has to happen.” This is definitely a story worth telling and it would be great to see the film being made with Hanry Cavill reprising the role of Superman.
Now, Elba has teased that he has “a really important thing for DC right now”. But she could be any number of things. Of course, this Bloodshot and Superman story is a possibility, but no details have been revealed about this project. It would be great if it were!
James Gunn he is currently working on another DC project which is said to be a “really big thing”. He recently said: “I am working very seriously on another DC project, in which I am very involved in writing and directing. There will be a fusion of the characters from pacifier in the other shows I’m working on. And I’m involved with a couple of others [DC] things too “.
As for the future of Henry CavillSuperman in the DCEU, no one knows what’s going on, but WB sure would be stupid not to bring him back for more movies!
