During the 2022 Evolution Championship Series (EVO), Bandai Namco made a somewhat surprising announcement. The team is developing next-generation versions for their hit fighting game Dragon Ball Fighter Z. The game is developed by Arc System Works and the PS5 and Xbox Series X | S editions will use their full power for “even more stunning graphics with incredible responsiveness to player inputs”. I’m definitely curious to see what these next generation editions entail. This wasn’t the only announcement though. They also announced that new generation and PC gamers will be able to enjoy better online experiences thanks to the fact that they will update the game with the rollback netcode in the future. I myself don’t fully understand the rollback netcode, but I know enough to know that people who really like fighting games (like Dragon Ball Fighter Z) I love it. More details on both of these updates will come in the future. Are you excited about one of these updates?
