With production about to begin Insidious 5The full cast has been announced. Patrick Wilson not only will he star in the film, but he will also direct it. Other returning cast members include Rose Byrne And Ty Simkinsand will be joined by Sinclair Daniel, Peter Dager, And Hiam Abbass.
The story is set ten years after the end of Insidious 2, “Josh Lambert (Wilson) heads east to drop off his son Dalton (Simpkins) at an idyllic ivy-covered university. However, Dalton’s college dream becomes a nightmare when the repressed demons of his past suddenly return to haunt them both.
The screenplay was written by Scott Teemsand is based on a story he created with the co-creator of the franchise Leigh Whannell. I liked the films in this horror franchise and the first two were certainly the best. I am happy to see this next story continue to expand on the Lambert family. I am thrilled to see what horrors await them!
Jason Blum is producing the film for Blumhouse, along with the creators of the franchise James Wan and Leigh Whannell. He also produces Oren Peli.
