Publisher Koch Media is carrying developer Cardboard Sword’s debut title The Siege and the Sandfox on PC in 2023. Dubbed Stealthvania, the 16-bit-style game will combine metroidvania-style gameplay with tons of stealth mechanics. You’ll explore the majestic palace and ancient prisons of a kingdom under siege as you take on the mantle of the legendary Sandfox. Use stealth to sneak into your environments, incapacitate enemies, and outsmart enemies as if you’ve never been there. Run, jump, slide, swing, pole swing and more as you explore the world. The trailer for this game makes it look really funny with retro graphics. The gameplay reminds me of Prince of Persia if it were a 16-bit Metroidvania game which is really cool. No official release date yet, but it’s now available for wishlist on PC via Steam, Epic Store, GOG, and Humble.
