Vertical Entertainment has released a trailer for an interesting looking murder drama film titled Delia is gone. The film comes from the writer and director Roberto Budreau (How nice somewhere, Born to be blue) and the story follows an unjustly accused man who embarks on a violent and redemptive journey to uncover the truth behind his sister’s death.
Delia is gone stars Stefano Giacomo (If Beale Street could talk), Marisa Tomei, Paul Walter Hauser, Genelle Williams, Hamza HaqAnd Travis Fimmel. It looks like a powerful movie that will feature some great performances. The synopsis reads:
Living with an intellectual disability, Louis is wrongfully accused of the murder of his sister Delia and sentenced to 5 years in prison. Upon release, he receives a visit from one of the last men to see her, which implies there is more to killing her than meets the eye. Armed with this information, Louis embarks on a personal mission to find out who is responsible for Delia’s mysterious death.
Delia is gone will be released in selected American theaters and on VOD starting August 19, 2022.
