This series is an adaptation of the book written by Erik Larson. The series is said to take audiences on “a tour of murder, romance and mystery in the golden age”. Holmes admitted killing 27 people, but in reality he is said to have killed nearly 200 people. He built The World’s Fair Hotel, which was an inn where people could stay while visiting, and the sociopath used his charming demeanor to lure guests into his hotel, which has since become known as the castle. of the murder. Sam Shaw is writing the series and will act as showrunner. Todd camp will direct. The project was initially conceived as a Paramount-esque feature film with DiCaprio as the lead and Scorsese as the director. Now they are both just producers of the project.
I am happy to see that Reeves has been cast for the series, this is going to be a fantastic and interesting project for him to be a part of! There are some documentaries about HH Holmes and the story of him is both horrifying and fascinating. It will be a great series.
