Netflix released a trailer for a new streetball-focused sports documentary in the 90s titled Untold: The rise and fall of AND1. Untold is a sports documentary series: “From football to basketball, from streetball to sailing, these stories are not what you have heard before, even if you think you have.”
The rise and fall of AND1 tells the story of AND1 Mixtape and accompanying AND1 Mixtape Tour, first launched in 1998. “To tell the story of And1 you have to tell the story of grit, passion, perseverance and an eternal love for the game of basketball … Not only this is the story of the streetball legends who started a movement of cultural change and made their dreams come true to get paid to go hunting when practically everyone else excluded them. It is also the story of ordinary people around the world who, thanks to And1, they finally got access to the energy and basketball pandemonium of a highly skilled, high-energy person. “
