Vertical Entertainment has released a trailer for an upcoming crime thriller titled No way out. The first part of the trailer makes you think this is going to be some kind of fascinating romantic movie and then things take a dark turn.
The film was directed by Azi Rahman, who is making his directorial debut, and stars Joey Bicicchi as a photographer who arrives in Los Angeles and quickly falls in love with a young and extravagant Tessa, played by the Australian singer / actress Maia Mitchell and it turns out he has a mysterious past. It looks like a decent movie and this is the synopsis:
New to Los Angeles, talented photographer Nick (Joey Bicicchi) falls in love with free-spirited Tessa (Maia Mitchell) who introduces him to the fast-paced world of high fashion. Fueled by sex, drugs and the seduction of unbridled adoration, their love becomes an obsession when she asks him to do the unimaginable. When a dark truth is discovered, young lovers are pushed down a path of vengeance and destruction that blurs the boundaries of morality and beg the question: how far would you go for the one you love?
Vertical will release Rahman’s No way out in some US theaters and on VOD starting August 12, 2022.
