The fourth season of “Stranger Things” was a resounding success for Netflix. It can be measured in the success of the songs they played (Kate Bush tells), in the way they colonized the conversation of the first summer months, and in the first visualization data published by the streaming platform, which They have jeopardized “The Squid Game” record as the most successful series in Netflix’s catalog.

However, the Korean series will finally continue its reign. The company announced it Season 4 of the Duffer Brothers’ series managed to rack up 1.4 billion hours in its first 28 days, which is the scale chosen by Netflix to measure the success of a series. This figure took into account the first 28 days of volume 1 and the first 28 days of volume 2.
While this is spectacular (and impossible to counter beyond what Netflix himself says), “The Squid Game” managed to add 1.7 billion hours in the first 28 days available. ‘Stranger Things’ is less than 300 million hours away from the reigning champion, but it is clear that the word of mouth that has had the series created by Hwang Dong-hyuk has been overwhelming and with fewer chapters than the fourth season of ‘Stranger Things’ ‘. Of course, the record they can’t break is that of the most watched English series on the platform, as it is a long way off the 656 million hours of the second season of ‘The Bridgertons’, the next in this ranking.
The scripts for the fifth season are already underway
