Sylvester Stallone he was certainly pissed to learn that MGM was trying to develop a Rocky And I believe spin-off movie titled Dragon he would focus on Dolph LundgrenThere is Ivan Drago and Florian Munteanu’S Vittorio Drago. Stallone went wild on social media when he discovered the project saying:
Another heartthrob … I just found out … ONCE AGAIN, this PATHETIC 94-year-old MANUFACTURER and HIS USELESS CHILDREN OF THE MORONIC AVULTURE, Charles and David, are once again cleaning up the BONES of another wonderful character that I created without even telling me … I apologize to the FAN, I never wanted the ROCKY characters to be exploited by these parasites … By the way, I have nothing but respect for Dolph, but I wish he had told me what was going on behind my back … Keep your REAL friends close.
Dolph Lundgren has been in contact with Stallone since posting it on social media and Lundgren is setting the record straight, sharing on Instagram:
Just to set the record straight about a possible Drago spin-off. There is no approved script, no deal in place, no director and personally I had the impression that my friend Sly Stallone was involved as a producer or even as an actor. There was a leak last week that was unfortunate. In touch with Mr. Balboa – just so all fans can relax … That’s it.
Here it is! The whole thing was a misunderstanding and the project is so early in development at this point that even if it does happen, we still have a long way to go before we even see it.
