AMC is developing a reboot series of the classic 80s pop culture series Max height And Matt Frewer is set to reprise his role as the world’s first artificial intelligence television personality.

The series comes from Stop and catch fire co-creator Christopher Cantwell, who is writing the adaptation and is associated as a showrunner. It will be produced by Elia Wood And Daniele NoahSpectreVision and All3Media.

Max Headroom was a staple of my childhood, such a weird yet funny character that he stuck in my memory. The character was known for his stinging comments on a variety of current affairs, arrogant wit, stuttering, and glitchy tone-changing voice.

Max was introduced in the 1985 British cyberpunk television movie Max Headroom: 20 minutes into the future. He became an instant pop culture phenomenon and hosted a music video show, appeared in commercials for New Coke, appeared on the cover of Newsweek and starred in his own prime-time series, and even appeared in Back to the future Part II at the Caffè of the 80s. He has also appeared in many other projects over the years.

I never thought I’d see Max Headroom in action in a new series, but here we are! It’s happening and it should be a blast! What do you think of Max Headroom’s return in a reboot of the series?
