Thurs And Antonio RussoThe action spy thriller The gray man it was a big hit for Netflix and it was actually a really great movie! Well, the streaming service has announced that they are making a sequel and a spin-off movie!
The gray man 2 will be the protagonist Ryan Gosling and the Russo Bros. will return to direct with the co-writer Stephen McFeely set to return as well. It’s great to see the sequel bring the original creative team back to life!
As for the spinoff, that will be developed by Dead Pool And Zombieland scribes Paul Wernick And Rhett Reese. There is no spin-off information about which character, or characters, it will focus on, but with the creative team on board developing it, we know it’s going to be a lot of fun!
Speaking previously of possible sequels to the franchise, the Russos said, “It’s ready for a franchise because it’s based on a series of books. We always think that way, because we like long-term storytelling. Most of ours. careers has been in a long-term narrative: all of our television work, all of our Marvel work. “
The original film centered on Gosling as a former CIA agent-turned-assassin who is hunted down by his former CIA colleague, Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans). The film is also the protagonist Ana de Armas, Regé-Jean page, Jessica Henwick, Alfred WoodardAnd Billy Bob Thornton.
