The hype for Dwayne Johnson’S Black Adam exploded at WB’s presentation at Comic-Con today! Dwayne Johnson made the epic entrance into Hall H when he took the stage dressed as Black Adam with the light striking behind him and the thunder roaring in the room. He was nice enough. He also promised once again that the hierarchy in the DC universe will change with the introduction of this character,
A new trailer was released for the film at Comic-Con and it contained some great new footage! I wasn’t so sure about this movie, but there’s a good chance it will really live up to the hype! I hope it does! I hope this movie does your ass!
Black Adam even stars Aldis Hodge (Underground, the invisible man), who plays Hawkman in the film; Noah Centineo (To all the guys I love before, Charlie’s Angels) as Atom Smasher; Quintess Swindell (Costume jewelery, Euphoria) as Cyclone; And Pierce Brosnan (Golden Eye, Mamma Mia!) such as Doctor Fate, as well as Sara Shahi (Person of interest, The L Word), Marwan Kenzari (The Old Guard, Aladdin), And Uli Latukefu (Young rock), who were chosen for unspecified roles.
Jaume Collet-Serra (Jungle cruise) directs Black Adamfrom the most recent screenplay, written by Rory Haines And Sohrab Noshirvani. Adam Sztykiel wrote the previous draft.
Johnson previously talked about how he prepared to play Black Adam all his life, saying, “I started training for Black Adam when I came out of the womb. I think I was born to play this character. But in all honesty, this project has been with me for 10 to 10 years. The process started when we started lifting the material and really developed it into what it is today. Once the start date was agreed upon by our Seven Bucks production company, the rest of my team, Warner Bros. Studio and DC Comics, I began building a comprehensive training program with my coach Dave Rienzi. I wanted to get into this in the best shape of my career. “
Black Adam will be released in theaters on October 21, 2022.
