Marvel Studios have shared the first trailer for the upcoming animated series I am Groot today at Comic-Con! I didn’t know what to expect from the series when it was first announced, but it looks like a fascinating and fun series with some crazy and silly moments that I’m sure fans will appreciate, especially kids!
vin Diesel is reprising her role as Groot’s voice, and was also revealed during the panel Bradley Cooper will be back to voice Rocket Raccoon, which is great! Guardians of the Galaxy franchise director James Gunn is the executive production of the show.
I am Groot is a series of five short films that will focus on “Baby Groot” as it approaches the hijackings and introduce fans to several new and unusual characters. The poster shows Groot relaxing and listening to Peter Quill’s Walkman as two tiny CGI creatures watch him.
Marvel Studios will release I am Groot on Disney + on August 10, 2022.
