All eyes are on Amazon Prime Video’s fantastic bet, which next September 2nd will take us back to JRR Tolkien’s Middle-earth with the premiere of its most expensive and ambitious series to date.
In recent months, the promotional campaign for fiction developed by JD Payne and Patrick McKay has not stopped moving, with numerous previews in the form of official images and teasers. But Oddly, we hadn’t yet seen a main trailer itself (So far, Prime Video has classified all published videos as teasers.) Of course, the location chosen to launch it, just over a month after its premiere, was San Diego Comic-Con, which devoted an hour and a half. of panels in a the iconic Hall H packed with Middle-earth fans, where that full three-minute trailer was finally shownthat we can have fun too.
But that’s not all, aside from the most epic “Rings of Power” trailer, the team exclusively presented up to five scenes from the series and more than 20 character images, which we also collect here. The panel, moderated by presenter Stephen Colbert, also saw the participation of Bear McCreary, the composer of the soundtrack, who delighted the more than 6,000 panel participants by performing live the most important pieces of the series with choir and orchestra.
Payne and McKay, showrunners on the series, and executive producer Lindsey Weber drove to huge panel that with 21 cast members: Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Maxim Baldry, Nazanin Boniadi, Morfydd Clark, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Charles Edwards, Trystan Gravelle, Ema Horvarth, Markella Kavenagh, Tyroe Muhafidin, Sophia Nomvete, Lloyd Owen, Dylan, Megan Smith, Charlie Vickers, Leon Wadham, Benjamin Walker, Daniel Weyman and Sara Zwangobani; making it one of the largest panels in the history of the famous San Diego convention.
The beginning of a long journey

The series begins in a period of relative peace and follows a large cast of characters, both familiar and new, on their adventures as they face the dreaded resurgence of evil in Middle-earth, ranging from the darkest depths of murky mountains. to the majestic forests of the elven capital of Lindon or the mighty island kingdom of Númenor.
“The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” begins its broadcast on Prime Video on Friday, September 2, with new episodes available every week. The first season will consist of eight episodes. and the series has already been renewed for a second, with plans to extend it to five seasons in total.
