Renegade Game Studios recently announced a new dice placement game from Garphill Games called Southern Tigris hikers. In this game, 1-4 players will do their best to map the land surrounding Baghdad around the year 820 AD Meeple University has created an amazing “How to Play” video that I have included below and it looks pretty funny. Also, the art looks great and the Renegade does a good job of publishing good quality games.
Southern Tigris Walkers is set during the height of the Abbasid Caliphate, around 820 AD As brave explorers, cartographers and astronomers, players set out from Baghdad to map the surrounding land, waterways and skies above. Players must carefully manage their caravan of workers and equipment, regularly journaling their findings at the House of Wisdom. Will you be able to impress the Caliph, or will you lose your way and succumb to the wilderness?
