New treasures are waiting to be discovered, Disney + brings us two new ones: the teaser and the official poster of the series of ‘The research’. Almost two decades after the first film’s debut, the streaming platform will premiere a series based on the hit film franchise. “National Treasure: Edge of History” will have a first season of ten chapters.
With new stories on the way, a very young Jess (Lisette Alexis) will embark on the adventure of her life to uncover the truth about her family’s mysterious past and save a Pan-American treasure. In this new juvenile version of the saga, ‘National Treasure: Edge of History’, we will see an old acquaintance, FBI Special Agent Peter Sadusky, played by Harvey Keitel. This interesting addition adds to that of Justin Bartha as Riley Pool, which had already been confirmed.
The series takes place in the same timeline as the movies, but We still don’t know if Benjamin Gates will appear, played by Nicolas Cage. The writers of the series left the door open for the actor to participate in the adaptation, as they communicated in a interview for Deadline during San Diego Comic Con, where they showed great interest in Cage, “We will pray and beg anything”Marianne said. “The moment he had a space in his program, we would say yes without thinking about it. The new Disney + series, “National Treasure: Edge of History”, will feature a group of 20-year-olds.
