I honestly don’t know what Rob Zombie is doing with his film adaptation of The Munsters. She claims to be a fan of the original series and this movie would have honored him, but to me … it feels like a complete mess. There was a time when I was really excited to see this movie because I’m a huge fan of the original series and I grew up watching reruns with my mom. But this film doesn’t seem like it The Munstersand I’m a bit shocked at how low the production value is.
Well, we have another silly trailer for The Munsters to watch today and offers some new movies. The film will arrive on Netflix in the fall, but USA Today has revealed that before being released on Netflix, the film will be released on Blu-ray DVD and VOD platforms on September 27, 2022. This trailer is for that version.
Speaking of the film recently, Zombie said, “The film is layered and weird, but it’s strangely innocent. I feel like it’s the perfect Halloween movie. ”He continues comparing the movie to a“ live cartoon ”.
The synopsis of the film reads: “The strangest love story ever told: Herman and Lily’s mad courtship takes The Munsters on an obsessively exhilarating journey from Transylvania to Hollywood in the brand new feature film.
The cast includes Jeff Daniel Phillips like Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie like Lily Munster, and Dan Roe as grandfather Munster, along with Doctor who And Hobbit actor Sylvester McCoywho plays Igor, “the faithful servant of the family”, Dee Wallaceactress Elvira Cassandra Peterson as a real estate agent, Tomas Boykin as Lily Munster’s werewolf brother Lester and Uncle Gilbert are also in the film.
