Keanu Reeves provides the voice of Batman in the upcoming DC animated film DC League of Super-Pets, which is such a fun casting. But it turns out it’s always been Reeves’ dream to play Batman in live-action. In a recent interview with Extra the actor shared:
“It has always been a dream, but [Robert] Pattinson has Batman right now and he’s doing great, so maybe down the road. Maybe when they need an older Batman. “
Unfortunately for Reeves, Michael Keaton is now playing an older version of Batman, which I am incredibly excited about because Keaton is one of my favorite versions of Batman. But I would absolutely love to see Reeves play Batman!
Warner Bros. could make a Batman movie of its own, separate from what Matt Reeves is making and telling a completely different Batman story. Warner Bros. has already established that they agree to do something like this with its DC characters. So why the hell not make a Batman movie with Keanu Reeves !?
