Konami is thinking far into the future for Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG fans. The company recently announced details for the Speed Duel GX 2023 box which will be released on March 31, 2023. Now, the name of the product will most likely change from now to then, but there are about eight months left to that date, so this is news well in advance. Like the previous Speed Duel Boxes for Yu-Gi-Oh!This one has eight pre-built decks, new abilities, Secret Rare upgrades for some cards, and additional cards to tinker with the decks a bit and really customize them.
So what are the deck themes this time around? Well, the villains seem to be the name of the game with the press release mentioning Titan’s Archfiend deck having a Chess, Amnael’s Alchemy deck featuring Helios, and the Supreme King’s Evil HEROES. However, under the abilities, it occurs to us that there will be something that will help you make a Dark Scorpion deck like Detective Zaloog that I would really like. There is also talk of the Sacred Beasts, so it will definitely be at least one of the decks.
The Speed Duel GX 2023 box will have an MSRP of $ 29.99 and will contain 200 Commons, 20 Skill Cards, and 8 (out of 24) Secret Rare. What decks do you hope to see? Can we have a Venom deck? I would play it in the blink of an eye! I guess we will also see a Yubel deck.
