Nintendo recently surprised fans with the announcement of Kirby’s Dream Buffet. The adorable spin-off game sees you and your friends drag Kirby on a race through obstacle courses to eat more food and chase opponents off stage. The game looks super simple and people are already comparing it Autumn boys. I did not play Autumn boys so I can’t tell, but it reminded me of the Katamari Games.
Launched in Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch, My Nintendo Store on Nintendo.com and in retail, Kirby’s Dream Buffet sees Kirby going through a buffet of food-themed levels in four rounds of fast-paced multiplayer fun. Players will race each other through these delightful obstacle courses to collect strawberries as Kirby grows, knocking other players off stage and using the familiar copying skills – or food copying skills, as they are called in this game. – to counter competition.
Fans will be able to play Kirby’s Dream Buffet this summer. An exact date and price will be revealed in the future, but check out the trailer below and get ready for some adorable fun.
