Netflix has released a new clip from its live-action Resident Evil series titled “The Weskers Cover Their Tracks”. He is gifted with Launch ReddickAlbert Wesker and his daughters find themselves in a terrifying situation and tells his girls to move on without him. We don’t really know what’s going on here, but the Umbrella Corporation is in merge mode and that’s no good.
After his girlfriends leave him, he is shown playing with computers in the lab and then, later, he puts zombie dog blood on his face.
The story is set 14 years after a world apocalypse caused by a deadly virus in the year 2036, “14 years after a deadly virus caused a global apocalypse, Jade Wesker ((Ella Balinska)) fights for survival in a world overrun by infected and mad bloodthirsty creatures. In this utter carnage, Jade is haunted by her past in New Raccoon City, by her father’s chilling ties to the Umbrella Corporation, but most of all by what happened to her sister, Billie. “Jade is Albert Wesker’s daughter. .
Showrunner Andrea Dabb previously explained that they took “all the games and mixed them together” for this series. She also promises “a gripping puzzle mystery stitched together on two timelines”. One of these deadlines is set in 2036 and the other dates back to the year 2022.
It is also explained that “The brand new expansion to the series brings the best of the series Resident Evil DNA forward: tough heroines, crazy creatures (some new / some familiar), a battle for survival and, of course, a profound mystery to unravel. Andrew Dabb (Supernatural) expands directions with fresh storytelling, thrilling horror, and an action-packed show that’s perfect for summer binges.
The show is also the protagonist Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rodolfo, Paola Nunez, Ahad Raza Mir, Connor GossattiAnd Turlough Convery. Andrea Dabb (Supernatural) acts as showrunner / executive producer / writer with Mary Lia Sutton as an executive producer / writer.
Resident Evil will be released on July 14, 2022.
