Dark Horse Books is publishing the latest graphic novel by Ray Nadine, The light comes on. This grayscale and color spot graphic novel will tell the story of Leon and Cody. Leon is a struggling photographer struggling with a recent breakup with his boyfriend and is recovering from his time in the military. When his camera breaks, he borrows one from his mother’s antiques shop only to unknowingly free the ghost of Cody, a weird punk rocker who doesn’t know how he died decades ago. The two investigate what may have happened to Cody in an attempt to end his camera haunt. You will take a journey through modern, bygone Chicago as the two realize they have more in common than they initially thought.

I like the grayscale and spot color style of the art and I think it will lend itself well to this story.
