There is no deception on the notice and, finally, the classic Colombian soap opera of ‘I’m Betty the Ugly’, left the Netflix catalog, the streaming platform that has long been its home. Despite this, there is still hope and the series can be seen on other digital and television services.
Currently,’Yo Soy Betty, la Fea ‘can be found on the RCN website and, moreover, in the NBC. Although, unfortunately, being able to watch the Colombian telenovela episodes on these services will only depend on the region you are in, as it is not available in all countries.
Another option to continue viewing the love story with Ana María Orozco and José Enrique Abello, is to follow the programming of the television channels that still broadcast it. This is the case of Mexican television which broadcasts a chapter of this telenovela every Thursday through Azteca at 7 o’clock at 21:30.
In turn, you can relive the most iconic and epic moments of “Yo Soy Betty, la Fea” on YouTube; as the RCN channel has a playlist available with the most popular scenes from the series. These include Betty’s arrival at Ecomoda and some of the most romantic and fun scenes seen in the series.
According to Trade in Peru, chances are high that “Yo Soy Betty, the Fea” will soon join the HBO Max or Amazon Prime Video catalog due to the deals these companies recently entered into with Canal RCN. Even if, for now, it is only speculation and there is no official streaming platform where you can see all its chapters, without any conditions or complications.
‘I am Betty, the Ugly’, the hit that Netflix lets go
Despite the fact that “Yo Soy Betty, la Fea” was officially released in the 1990s via the RCN channel, it never went out of style. In fact, it has become a Classic of Colombian television and it managed to be so successful that it not only aired in multiple countries, but got a wide variety of adaptations, even the United States had its own.
Its arrival on Netflix was one of the best decisions the streaming platform could make because the soap opera has always been in the top 10 of the most viewed in its catalog. Now the digital service loses a very good title and we will have to wait to find out which company takes the lead and decides to add the series to its offer.
