The character Tarman from the 1985 horror film The Return of the Living Dead is getting her 1/6 scale action figure thanks to Trick or Treat Studios. Tarman is one of the most iconic and recognizable zombies in the movies and is perfectly brought to life in the most grotesque way!
In the film, Tarman was trapped in a barrel, hidden in the basement of the Darrow Chemical Company. When two employees accidentally break the seal on the barrel, not only is Tarman awakened, but the chemical Trioxin-245 is released and a new zombie outbreak ensues.
The action figure stands 12 ″ tall and comes with two interchangeable portraits and brains. Here are the details on the The Return of the Living Dead – 1: 6 scale figure of Tarman:
Sculpted by Alex Ray and Justin Mabry
Trick or Treat Studios and Living Dead Media are proud to present the official Return of the Living Dead Tarman action figure in 1: 6 scale.
This stunning figure was sculpted from scratch by Alex Ray and Justin Mabry to give the most accurate look possible for the film. The figure features different materials and finishes to really capture that perfect gooey cool zombie barrel look.
The figure measures approximately 12 ″ and includes 2 interchangeable heads and a brain. And to complete the package, the figure arrives in a beautiful collector’s box with a flip-up window display.
The “BRAINS” head option is inspired by the first time we meet Tarman as he calls out “BRAINS!” of Tina, during this scene Tarman was depicted as a puppet with a slightly different appearance than the costumed version of the character.
And the head of “MORE BRAINS” is inspired by the scene where the group unknowingly meets Tarman (portrayed by a costumed actor) in the basement on their way to help Tina. Tarman exclaims “MORE BRAINS!” after snacking on Suicide.
Keep an eye out for the accessory set with split dog, Trioxin barrel and basement backdrop coming soon!
Tarman is priced at $ 139.99. The release is scheduled for October 17th.
