Who’s Who in “We’re Dead”? The Korean zombie series on Netflix

Between Most successful Korean series that Netflix has createdis “We are Dead”, a production that delves into an intense zombie apocalypse from the perspective of a group of high school students, played by a very young and little-known cast both in South Korea and internationally.

The story of ‘We are all dead’, as this series is also known; tells how several students join forces to survive the undead. They are all completely different: there are those who are courageous, those who are afraid, those who are arrogant and there are also those who try to lighten the situation with a few jokes; but somehow they find a way to team up.

Who manages to join forces to get out alive is Cheong San, played by Yoon Chan Young; a young man who seems to keep his senses in the middle of the case and who, moreover, offers to carry out the riskiest tasks … like dealing with zombies. Part of his courage comes from wanting to save Nam On Jo (Park Ji Hoo), the girl he has a crush on, but who doesn’t feel the same way for him and only sees him as his best friend.

In addition to these two protagonists, the adrenaline and the dramatic story of ‘We are dead’, two other characters: Soo Hyuk (Park Solomon), who appears to be the strongest of the group and who always supports Cheong San in risky tasks; as well as Nam Ra (Cho Yi Hyun), the president of the group that nobody wants but who slowly manages to earn the trust of others with her honesty, intelligence and courage.

In addition to these brave students, there are many others who take the lead in this success korean zombie series on Netflix; as Gwi Nam (Yoo In Soo), the main antagonist of this story. Although there are many others that are also pivotal to the undead drama thriller.

After the confirmation of the second season of “We are Dead” on the streaming platform, it has sparked intrigues about who are the characters and actors who return to the story after the end of the first episode. The first preview of the new part of the Korean series reveals that some will return and some will not.

Among the characters thought never to be seen again in the second season of “We’re Dead” is Cheong San, who was believed to be dead. However, in the first preview of this new installment he was seen as part of the cast and will return at least, along with On Jo, Nam Ra and Soo Hyuk; although until now it is not known in what kind of context his story.
