Top Gun: Maverick it was such a damn amazing movie! Seriously, it’s one of my all time favorite movies. With the film grossing over a billion dollars at the box office, you know the studio will want to do another one. But that decision is up to Tom Cruise.
Top Gun: Maverick it’s so good that I don’t really want to see another sequel. I don’t want the franchise to be overshadowed by an unnecessary sequel that doesn’t reach the same level of grandeur as Nonconformist. But it could very well happen and Thousands recently revealed that he and Tom Cruise had conversations about a third Top Gun movie. Teller told Entertainment Tonight:
“That would be great, but it’s all up to TC. It’s all up to Tom. I’ve had a few conversations with him about it. We’ll see.”
Teller went on to praise Cruise, saying, “For him to share Top Gun with me and a lot of these other young actors it’s been such a wild ride, and it’s still going … I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life … It’s a really good feeling. “
If one Top Gun 3 had happened, the creative team should have come up with a fantastic story! The question is … how do you get over Top Gun: Maverick? If they can’t do it, don’t follow up. What do you think?
