If you want to do a little research for low-level characters in Dungeons & Dragonsconsider The Brineborough Plague from Spencer Hibnick. This little quest is designed for level two characters and includes a marine shack and two magical items. During the mission, adventurers must save a fishing village from a spooky seabird. It seems like a fun little adventure to serve as a way to tie up a new party or even if you just want one hit.
A fishing village is plagued by a pfeilstorch specter, the ghost of a migratory seabird. A hunter shot the bird, but it escaped with the arrow stuck in its neck. He died at Brineborough and his agony generated a vengeful spirit that sees all humanoids as the hunter who condemned him. It is up to the characters to end the threat.
