Director Rob Zombieis the film adaptation of the classic TV series The Munsters added another familiar face to his cast with Butch Patrick, who played the young werewolf Eddie Munster in the original series. Patrick will play the Tin Man in the film, a show robot that Eddie built for a science fair before he was sabotaged, forcing his grandfather (Al Lewis) to solve it.
Zombie announced the cast addition in an Instagram post, stating, “Where’s Eddie you ask? Well, I tell you! My good friend [Butch Patrick] is now in THE MNSTERS as THE TIN CAN MAN. I am thrilled to have another original Munster in my new movie. Get ready for some robot fun! “
He joins the rest of the cast, which includes Jeff Daniel Phillips like Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie like Lily Munster, Daniele Capriolo as a grandfather, Catherine Schell, Jorge Garcia, Sylvester McCoy, Riccardo Freno And Cassandra Petersen (aka Elvira), in the role of real estate agent Barbara Carr.
